Making Marshmellows

Image
Assalamualikum.  Well this time, we don't have any instructions but an experience to share. This was the very first time we made marshmallows with an aunt, Alhammdulilah it wasn't very easy but it went well.  With regards to the taste - it was beyond delectable, Alhammduliah! This was a lovely experience and we just wanted to show you all how they turned out, so until next time, Assalamualykum.

Recreating our childhood art

Image
ٱلسَّÙ„َامُ عَÙ„َÙŠْÙƒُÙ…ْ It's Hanah here... We have a huge file of artwork and crafts that we did when we were very small, we have named it our ' memory journal' . As years have passed by, we have improved in our art, Alhammdulilah.  We both decided to 'recreate' some of our art work in the memory journal. It was very fun and challenging, especially to see whether our art skills have improved or if it is still stagnant and childish.  First up, I recreated a picture of my own :  After recreating it :  Then, I recreated Khadijah's baby drawing :  This is Khadijah's drawing that she was going to recreate : After re- drawing it : (whoops, the camera angle is wonky!) Khadijah recreated my baby drawing :  Alhammdulilah this was a very fun project and we hope to continue this InshaAllaah in the future, this idea wasn't our original and was inspired by two  YouTubers . Until next time, Assalamualykum.

DIY miniature aquarium in a jar

Image
Assalamualikum,  Today we are excited to share this handmade jar aquarium we made for our beloved Grandfather; he was elated with the special gift as he adores aquariums and fish, Alhammdulilah!  In fact, he inspired and encouraged us to start keeping fish and even gifted an aquarium to us, in which we now keep goldfish! His dedicated and passionate nature towards the hobby, despite his old age, always motivates us to never give up this wonderful hobby. He placed the aquarium jar on his desk and cherishes it greatly, Alhammdulilah. The creations inside the jar are totally handmade from craft foam and other materials.                                            We used an ordinary jam jar, this is the before :                                           And the aft...
