Moments of Wonder and Ponder

                                                             Assalamualaykum eveyone! I had these two vases that I bought quite a time ago and my sister suggested I paint on them since it was plain white. One of them was accidentally dropped by her, and it broke completely, but she mended the glass pieces using glue. Sadly we weren't able to find the bottom piece, but it's not noticeable, here's how it looks! I decided to paint different sections of the vase in different colors to look interesting. You could get some inspiration inshallah when you hope to customize any plain vase or jar. I started off with this turquoise kind of color, which was made from white and a little green added. Black and deep green was added I also painted some areas bright yellow to make them look undull, then I when over each color with different combinations. Surface to keep paint 1. Ombre pattern cover My journal had an ugly cover that needed to be customized, so I decided to peel the glossy layer and leave it with the thin cardboard. To do the ombre pattern, start by using a thick layer of white paint. Then add your desired color ( I chose deep red ), blend it with white to create a lighter version.                                        Continue to darken the shades by adding a wee bit of black or what is necessary to make it darker. People are busy, with their distractions and chores. Ants scurry passing nosy sparrows, running with bits of food to their tiny secure homes. Squirrels nibbling acorns that are half-eaten. The heavy clouds burst as if they were some-what beaten, people run past each other, some pop colourful umbrellas, and others shelter their heads with their unlucky hands. The rich are fortunate to have a home, while the poor are shivering in clay huts, witnessing their roofs gradually expand. The street dogs run with crouched backs, their fluffy coat is wet and useless.
