Dolphins Dolphins are a group of sea mammals closely related to whales. Both animals belong to the order cetacea. To keep their bodies warm, dolphins have evolved a thick layer of blubber. Every few minutes, dolphins have to surface to breath, a blowhole on top of their heads exhales used up air and inhales fresh air. There are over 40 different species of dolphins. Dolphins are fast swimmers, some of them can top 50 kilometers per hour! They move by beating their powerful tails, or flukes, up and down. The dorsal fin and flippers help them steer. Their dominant sense is echolocation. An organ, called a melon, in their foreheads emits a series of clicks. The dolphin senses the return wave though it's jaw Dolphins are also social animals, they do have a sense of humor. Notes taken from:  BrainPOP.com

Dogs Dogs are canines, part of the biological family as wolves, coyotes, foxes, and jackals. Dogs are domesticated -bred to be gentle so they can live with us. Nowadays, the United States recognizes seven main categories of Dogs. Dogs have very good hearing, they can detect sounds that are either too high - pitched or low - pitched for humans to hear. They can also pinpoint the exact direction where a sound is coming from. Their sense of smell is highly developed. Some dogs are trained to sniff out missing people, drugs, explosives, and possibly even cancer! Dogs can also be trained for other types of service, like helping the blind or disabled. Notes taken from :   BrainPOP.com

Memory journal This memory journal contains all our old memories such as arts, cards, and pictures when we were small and when we were older...      We added sticky notes to most of the pages and wrote something on them :)  We also added some arts when we were really young 2. Islam notebooks These are our Islam notebooks! We write notes while we study our Islam lessons. They are very special to us and we really appreciate them, we also enjoy designing them and taking notes! These are Hanaah's notebooks These are Khadijah's notebooks We have two sets; this is both of our old Islam notebooks... Here are a few pages inside them, Mashallaah they are pretty and simple.
