Juan Manuel Fangio, El Maestro (the master)

Juan Manuel Fangio (24 June 1911 - 17 July 1995) was regarded by many as one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time achieving many records that are unlikely to be ever beaten. In 1938, he entered his first-ever national event which was competing in a Ford V8, furthermore, he competed with a Chevrolet winning the Grand Prix International Championship in 1940 and competing in Europe in the late 1940s. He pursued in the  Argentina Turismo Carretera,  where he became its champion and successfully won his title in 1961. Thereafter, he achieved his triumph by winning Formula One World Driver's Championship for the fifth time in the 1950s. Formula One history was won by Fangio when he competed in the 1957 German Grand Prix in which he probably performed the greatest racing performance. He broke the record by winning in the Argentine Grand Prix and gained the status of the only Argentine driver to win on home soil.
