5 ways to decorate jars

                                              Assalamualykum everyone!

We have an obsession for jars, we think they look so adorable. Every time we find a jar we recycle them into something cute.  Today we thought to show you 5 different ways to decorate jars!

Probably we might have shown some of these in some of our past posts, however we thought it would be nice idea to include all the jars in this specific post.

And now, let's begin!

This  jar is one of our best, it's a nebula jar and we really love the pastel colours in it!

We reused this jar and we really like the gold lid!

Next, we have this bottle with a heart on it's lid, we think it looks so cool!

  we used this jar,

We then added some shredded paper inside the jar,

Using glue, we sprinkled glitter on the middle of the jar's lid,
we made sure to leave the gold border around the lid.

we used air dry clay to shape a heart, once it was dry we painted over it, and then we sprinkled
a little glitter on the heart.

Then, we pasted the heart in the centre of the lid.

This is the final results!

We also made these adorable jars, they are super simple but we really like how they have
turned out.

Firstly, you will need to make the shiny glitter heart that's in the centre of the jar.

We used :

Pink glitter,
Paper
an adhesive glue

Draw a heart shape, spread glue around it and add glitter,
finally dust all the excess glitter and cut out the heart.

We also added a few glitter inside the jar.

And pasted the glitter heart in the centre of the jar.

We used shredded paper, again.

This jar is the easiest of all!
We simply used this jar and painted over the jars in different colours.

We also added white dots onto the jar.

Khadijah made these jars, we think they look so beautiful.

She painted the jars, added some white splatters, tied a sisal twine on top of the jar
and finally added a silver and gold finish.

To make it look more pretty, she painted two eggs matching with the jar colours and placed
them inside the jar.

Alhammdulilah, we are pleased with all the jars we reused, and we
hope you enjoyed viewing them!

Wassalam!

  1. MashaAllah girls, another great post. You have really jazzed them up! I love jars too! I try to save my coconut oil jars to use them for my lentils etc. I feel terrible throwing them away! Hanifah went through a phase of saving interesting glass bottles. Sometimes the shape of a bottle can be appreciated or even the shade of glass, or if there is a design in the glass itself makes it too good to throw out. Besides, we should really recycle them anyway, but in the Gulf it is not always easy to do, hopefully things will, and are, slowly changing! Keep up with the good re-using projects! Your work really inspires me! xx
