It's Khadijah here!

For today's post, I will be showing you how to make an adorable kawaii earphone holder. By making this cute, yet useful DIY, you will prevent your earphones from getting entangled and knotted, as well as displaced.

You could make the earphone holder any character you wish, for this tutorial, I will be making a Molang earphone holder.

With that being said, let's get started!

You will need:

- Cardstock paper/ thin cardboard (In the colour of your character)

- Coloured paper (Optional)

- A pair of scissors

- Adhesive glue

- Velcro dots/strips

First, you need to cut out a piece from your cardstock paper, this is where you will be drawing your character.

Once you have cut your piece of cardstock paper, fold it into half.

Draw out your desired character onto your folded piece of cardstock paper, making sure that its base sits on the crease line.

Cut your character out and draw its details; it should look like the above when you open it.

This step is optional; cover the inside of the earphone holder in a contrasting yet appropriate colour, this will make your creation more lively. (I chose red so that it would match Molang's strawberry.)

Finalize your character by underlining/colouring in the details, this is where things get fun!
(I personally prefer to not colour in the details, instead, I cut my details out of paper and paste them onto my character, it looks more neat this way.)

Now it's time to do your final step!

Before pasting the velcro dots/strips, make sure to carefully measure the distance as shown above, so that when you close your earphone holder the two velcro pieces will perfectly get connected.
(You could strengthen the bond of the glue with mini pegs until it dries.)

Voila! Now you have an adorable and useful earphone holder that you can easily carry anywhere.

I have made a few earphone holders with my favourite characters, all of them holding their best-loved food!

Here are the earphone holders that I have made: Pusheen with a doughnut, Penguin? from Sumikko gurashi, with a pickle, and finally Molang holding a strawberry.

I hope you enjoyed viewing today's fun post and will try this simple craft yourself,
InshaAllah.

Until next time, stay creative and get inspired.
