A Weekend Of Crafts

  Assalamualykum!


In this post, we have combined 4 DIY crafts we made throughout the weekends.


 1. Customizing a birdhouse

This birdhouse was bought from a clay shop, it was super adorable the way it was but we noticed a door-like shape on each side so, in order to make it a bit more interesting, we turned it into a house-vase!

We added a border out of foam for the window and door in order that they would have a  
                                                                    three-dimensional look.

These beautiful flowers are from our grandmother 💗



2. Painting over a piece of wood 

We couldn't give up this piece of wood as it has a lot of memories, so instead of leaving it as it was - we decided to give it a 'makeover'.

3. Miniature landscapes

We knew something had to be done with these adorable cement pots our aunt gifted us, something miniature that would delve in!

First up, we filled it with sand,

Added this artificial leaf on top of it so that it would be a smooth surface for the structure that was about to be made on it.

4. Re-doing our scrapbook cover

This probably might be the last time we're doing this, however, we have done this many times because of the fact that our scrapbook cover keeps gating tattered as years go by.

I really enjoyed receiving  these gifts, they were so cute and amazing!                                                Assalamualykum everyone!                              We have an obsession for jars, we think they look so adorable. Every time we find a jar we recycle them into something cute.  Today we thought to show you 5 different ways to decorate jars!  Probably we might have shown some of these in some of our past posts, however we thought it would be nice idea to include all the jars in this specific post. And now, let's begin! This  jar is one of our best, it's a nebula jar and we really love the pastel colours in it! We reused this jar and we really like the gold lid!
